One of the things I love about mountain bikes is how versatile they are. I think they are the most universal bike around in terms of where you can ride them. They are great for your favorite singletrack trail, flying down your favorite downhill run, exploring an old double track road, road riding (with slick tires), touring (both off road and on), commuting around town, just cruising around town on a Sunday afternoon, riding them in the ocean surf (highly discouraged, but it is fun, just use a junker mountain bike!), and the list goes on. Well here is another type of riding to add to that list; crazy urban downhill mountain biking!
In this video you will see a downhill mountain bike race that was held on the hill side of a Brazilian town. The race coursed through the town’s steps and sidewalks between buildings and even went on the roof of a church! This has got to be one of the better point of view (POV) videos I have seen. The commentator is one of the riders and he is commentating as he rides. Anyways I think it is great to see another place where mountain bikes can be taken. Of course, don’t try this at home, these are the pros!

Wow! Yeeha! Downhill rocks! This remember me an event in a little town of Mexico: Taxco Redbull Downhill.
